NOLA - Saturday

In case you missed part one of our New Orleans adventure, you can read it here.  Saturday morning, we woke up to rain, rain and more rain.  Boo!  Luckily, we also work up to 3 adorable little guys bouncing around on an air mattress in the living room.

After the bouncing we did 2 puzzles and played countless games of hide & seek. I wish I would have taken some pictures of their "tricky" hiding spots - it was so cute!!

When the sky cleared up, we went out for lunch and headed back to the French Quarter.  Aunt Faye had the most FABULOUS rain boots:

I love them!!  Aren't they the most cheerful things you've ever seen?!?

Patrick & I did some roaming through the streets.

While we were in the French Quarter, we saw 2 wedding processions making their way through the streets.  It was so cool!  Why didn't I think to have a jazz band lead our wedding party on a parade through the streets for my wedding?

By the end of the day, the little ones were tired.  Patrick carried Beau on his shoulders - which was so adorable.

Stay tuned for the final chapter of our adventure coming soon....

  1. Those are some snazzy rain boots! Almost work the bad weather to be able to wear those. Looks like a GREAT time in New Orleans. I've never been and would LOVE to go.

I'd love to hear from you!
