We just brought her home from the hospital yesterday, right?
Patrick & I both took off work to celebrate Claire's birthday with her.
She must have known it was her birthday because she woke up all smiles...
Just kidding! She woke up a sad little girl and didn't appreciate mom snapping photos while she was upset.
Mom made her a special breakfast of french toast and blueberries.
She was all smiles for the camera but in reality she was not a french toast fan. She ate all the blueberries and threw the french toast on the floor. So much for trying to surprise her with something new.
We took a trip with both sets of grandparents to Purina Farms.
She liked petting the pigs...
riding the tractor...
sitting on the cow...
and watching the dog show.
After Purina Farms, we had lunch at a Mexican restaurant. We were hoping for the staff to sing Happy Birthday to Claire and let her wear the big sombrero but it must have been the only Mexican restaurant in the history of ever that doesn't have a birthday sombrero. I couldn't believe it! They were very nice and brought
Claire mom & dad fried ice cream to celebrate.
Sorry sugie girl but that fried ice cream is too big for you!
We had such a good day. Everyone loves Claire Louise!
